All About Me

From the time I was young, I've always known I wanted to help people. 

 Upon graduating high school, I dove headfirst in to relief work. From Los Angeles, to South Africa, to Thailand and Brazil. I was driven by my need to help. After helping disadvantaged and at risk youth around the world, I settled back in the states.

 I decided to continue my work with children as a professional nanny. This was the natural continuation of my care journey. After raising  five families and 11 children, I was ready to deepen my commitment to individual care.

 I studied to become an esthetician. I very much enjoyed helping people in this type of environment , and many of the things I've picked up along the way help drive my massage today.

 Along my life's winding road I've seen the toll stresses can take on a body, and peoples well being. As an esthetician, almost every client on my table suffered from tight shoulders and neck.

 My path became clear from there. I chose to attend one of the best massage schools in Southern California, and become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I had arrived. I found my calling, and haven't looked back.

 I love massage, and that it is a profession that allows me to help people on a one on one basis. I'm able to see a transformation right before my eyes.

 I have had the privilege to work alongside incredible chiropractors and physical therapists, massaging professional athletes, as well as helping those with chronic pain. I've also had the opportunity to work in a luxury spa, taking relaxation to the next level.

 My life's journey has been leading me here, to Ventura, California. As owner of V V Massage Therapy I draw on every aspect of my care journey. I get to take all of the parts that brought me here, and do what I truly love. I help people feel and perform their very best.
